There are a few key factors that determine when it is time for your wig or hairpiece to be washed.
Synthetic pieces typically can handle more wears between washing, as the synthetic fibers do not pick up on natural oils & product like human hair does. I recommend washing at least once every thirty days, unless the base materials are made of cloth or fabric. In that case, once every 7 - 10 wears for hygienic purposes.
When it comes to natural Human hair, the hair will act similar to your own, meaning it has a certain level of porosity where the hair will pick up on natural oils, product, perfumes & environmental debris. I recommend washing at least once every 7 - 10 wears to freshen the hair & remove possible product buildup. (As stated above, if the base materials are made of cloth or fabric, this timeframe is recommended for hygienic purposes as well.)

Keratin Bonds (K Tips) are individual hair extensions that typically can be worn safely in the hair around 2.5 - 4 months, depending on the placement, growth & shed pattern. Once installed, they will grow out with your natural hair & do not require move up appointments. After that timeframe, they will be removed & new hair will be required for the next installation.
Weft Extensions are hair extensions that are installed by being sewn into a beaded foundation. The beads are silicone-lined to cushion the natural hair. Typically, Every 5 - 6 weeks, they require a move up appointment & the same hair can be used for 9-12 months.

Eyelash extensions are synthetic fibers that are attached to your natural eyelashes to enhance their length, volume, & curl. These extensions are applied individually by a using a semi-permanent adhesive. They come in various lengths, thicknesses, & curls to achieve different looks, from subtle to dramatic. Eyelash extensions can last several weeks, depending on how well they are maintained & how quickly your natural growth cycle is.
