• BRUSH

Thoroughly brush extensions in the morning & before bed.

When brushing, make sure you feel the bristles of the brush against your scalp, through all of your extensions. Brush throughout the day as needed. I recommend a Wet Brush for the ends & a Boar Bristle Brush for the root.

    WASH

Before washing your hair, make sure to thoroughly brush hair & extensions.

Scrub at the scalp with shampoo & avoid tangling/scrubbing the mids & ends of the extensions, to prevent tangling & dryness.

    Rinse thoroughly between your extensions.

When conditioning, avoid applying conditioner at the attachment site of the extensions - only condition mid-lengths to ends. This rule also applies to hair masques & styling products.

    SLEEPING

Sleep with your extensions in a loose bun, braid, ponytail or bonnet that is not too tight, but secured enough to avoid bedhead/tangling.

    Never sleep with wet extensions.

    PRODUCTS

Only use professional products on your extensions. Moisture & hydration are key to helping your extensions last as long as possible. Using a hair oil in the mid-lengths to ends is reccomended daily.

Blondes should not over-use purple toning shampoos while wearing extensions.

    ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS

Only use mineral-based sunscreens while wearing extensions to avoid permanent discoloration. Avoid submerging extensions in chlorine or salt water to avoid prematurely drying or discoloring your extensions.

  • Do not get eyes wet for 24 hours after lashes are done so the bonding agent has time to properly set.

Be gentle when washing & cleansing your face. Do not rub eye area excessively. Use water-based facial cleansers.

Avoid ALL oil-based products around the eye area (moisturizers, under eye creams, makeup removers) as they could break down the adhesive faster than desired.

Do not use waterproof mascara or mascara that is not specifically for eyelash extensions. Most mascara contains chemicals that can cause your eyelash extensions to lift sooner than desired.

Never use a clamp-style eyelash curler; this can damage your natural lashes.

Avoid extreme heat or cold temperatures (saunas, shower steam, tanning beds, below freezing temperatures).

Never attempt to remove your eyelash extensions yourself. Always have a lash technician do it for you.
